Well-being is more than just physical health. It is about the whole person—mind, body and spirit. At Notre Dame Health Care, we are committed to promoting physical, spiritual, intellectual, environmental, and social wellness through a range of holistic and diverse programs that enrich and enhance lives, encourage socialization, and provide meaning and purpose.
The Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur embraced education as their primary mission when Saint Julie Billiart founded the order almost 220 years ago.
Following in that tradition, in 2004, Notre Dame Health Care established the Educational Bridge Center to provide educational opportunities and related services for staff and community members who want to advance in their careers and, ultimately, obtain a better life for themselves and their families.
The Center transitioned to the Educational Bridge Program featuring an Employee Educational Assistance Program in 2023 bringing enhanced support to employees including tuition assistance, student loan repayment assistance, career coaching, HiSET classes, TEAS preparation, resources to support CNA training, resources to support English language skills development, scholarship application assistance, resources and guidance for employees to pursue U.S. Citizenship, and more.
