Well-being is more than just physical health. It is about the whole person—mind, body and spirit. Notre Dame Health Care’ Spiritual and Pastoral Care services focus on the spirituality of each person, rooted in the tradition and values of St. Julie Billiart, the founder of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur.
As a healthcare provider which follows the tenets of Catholicism, we recognize the importance of the spiritual values of all faith traditions. We celebrate and respect the dignity of each person as they continue to grow and develop their unique relationships with God, self, and others.
In addition to being available to those on the Notre Dame Health Care campus, the Pastoral Care staff is always available to those in the community, whether to aid with grief and loss, or end of life. Special rituals are also available to support individuals and their families at end of life.
