Rooted in the heritage of Saint Julie Billiart and sponsored by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, our mission every single day is to provide exceptional care and service to give residents, families and visitors the peace of mind they need and desire. Our staff are dedicated professionals who put our residents and patients first and strive to create a warm and welcoming community for all.
I have been a receptionist at Notre Dame Health Care since 2013. I get to be one of the first faces our visitors see as they walk into our building. Knowing that I have a chance to bring a smile to their faces before and after they visit brings me a lot of joy. That’s what working at Notre Dame Health Care means to me.
Nicole, Receptionist at Notre Dame Long Term Care and Rehabilitation Center
I am one of the housekeepers at Notre Dame du Lac Assisted Living Residence. I enjoy my work. When my task is done residents will sometimes ask, “How can I thank you?” I tell them, “A thank you will do.” And then they give me the most sincere thank you, and that is truly all I ever need.
Jose, Housekeeper at du Lac Assisted Living Residence
I have worked at Notre Dame du Lac Assisted Living Residence as a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) in both Harmony (memory care) and Traditional care communities since 2011. I love working with the residents, helping people and solving problems. I am currently in a nursing program (Quinsigamond Community College-LPN) and appreciate all the support I receive from NDHC. Working at Notre Dame Health Care is a great blessing in my life. It is like a second home to me.
Julie, PCA at du Lac Assisted Living Residence
Being with residents from all walks of life is what I love most about working at Notre Dame Health Care. Our work culture is supportive across disciplines, and there is a beautiful, strong sense of shared commitment to the care of each individual living here. I’m grateful for what the future holds growing in accompaniment of our residents, and thankful to be a part of the personal mission of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur.
Marne, Spiritual Care Coordinator for Notre Dame Hospice and Pastoral Care Assistant at Notre Dame Long Term Care and Rehabilitation Center
I have been a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) at Notre Dame Health Care for many years, and I can say that this is the only job that I truly love. Every morning I thank God for what He wants me to do, and I know now that I am doing good. With the residents, we need to give our trust, to learn and respect each other, and to be responsible for helping them. What I love about them is to put a smile on their faces and to be a shoulder for them to lean on, or to give a simple hug or touch to let them know that I am here for them. What I love the most is to share my love for the residents.
